Meet the team behind Contech

Deb Ogden
President

Deb Ogden, the current President, was raised in the graphic arts industry. Her father, George Salsgiver, was the inventor of thermal die cutting. She had the honor of working for her father and her two brothers, and now, with their passing, is carrying on in her family's footsteps, working alongside her husband, Max. She is active at Contech and is proud of the company and legacy that her family has built.

Max Ogden
Vice-President

Max Ogden is the remaining founder of Contech and brings over 50 years of experience to the table. He has a broad sense of the industry and has experience in every facet of it. Max understands the customers’ desire for an exceptional product at a reasonable price. He is a hands on owner and is currently active in the sales, marketing and finance areas of the company. He’s able to move between each process using a lifetime of skills and experience.

Pat Sponsel
Operations Manager

Pat Sponsel has been with Contech 44 years. In that span of time, he has worn every hat imaginable. Pat truly is the guy who started from the ground up. He knows our equipment from the early days to today. Pat has a keen sense of what our customers expect and for Pat, customer service is key. As Operations Manager, Pat’s hands on approach is well known. He takes our valued customers through the quoting process, the manufacturing of their equipment, and the final delivery to their door.

Robert Kelly
General Manager

Robert (Bob) Kelly plays a key role in the day-to-day operations of Contech, bringing leadership, organization, and a deep understanding of the industry to the team. As General Manager, Bob ensures that projects move efficiently from concept to completion, working closely with every department to maintain quality and consistency. His problem-solving mindset and focus on teamwork help drive results and keep the company aligned with customer expectations. Bob is known for his approachable leadership style and dedication to continuous improvement.

Sales Manager
