An adjustable angle sheeter is designed to cut large rolls of flexible materials, such as paper, film, foil, or composites, into sheets with customizable shapes like trapezoids, parallelograms, or squares. The machine’s defining feature is its adjustable cutting mechanism, which allows the blade angle to be set between +45° and -45°using a servo motor and programmable logic controller (PLC) for precise control. The cutting action, typically a reciprocating shear or crush cut, is executed by a dynamic blade system that delivers clean, high-accuracy cuts (±0.2 mm). Operators use a touchscreen interface, often based on systems like Allen Bradley HMI, to input cut angles, lengths, and other parameters, with automatic angle adjustments eliminating manual reconfiguration. The cut sheets are produced without automated stacking or conveying, requiring manual collection or integration with optional downstream systems. This design ensures versatility and precision for applications in printing, packaging, and aerospace.
