6 Station Unwind, Single Station Rewind, Sheeter, Gripper and Stacker

The system is composed of a 6 unwind modules, a crosscut module and a gripper/stacker module.  The objective of the machine is to take several rolls of material, unwind them, cut the material to length, stack the material, then temporarily store the material before it is delivered to the next manufacturing process.

· 3” core inserts on all unwinds except Tedlar  

· 1 and 2 ml. Tedlar unwinds 6” core inserts

· 3” core inserts on ER rewind

· Air Brakes for unwinds,

· Powered rewind with air clutch control  

· End of roll sensors on unwinds, Web breakage sensor on ER roll  

· Core supports pneumatic operated both sides

· VFD powered cross cutter

· Pneumatic Class II score slitter (adjustable down force)

· Maximum web 64"

· Single servo operated gripper stacker

· Min-Max sheet length 80” to 150”  

· Stacker tolerance single lane +/- .125” (material testing required)

· Full safety of gripper motion area

· In house designed and programmed computer program

· Allen Bradley Control Logix with Panel view 12” monitor

· Gauges Regulators & manual switches on separate panel for unwind controls

· 480 Volts, 60 cycle, 3 phase.

· Air - 90 psi clean dry air.

· Ethernet access

· Static control: static bar at point of liner pulled from ER material, static string for each unwind, static bar at convergence of “kit”
