Abrasive Sheeter Stacker

The Abrasive Sheeter is designed to unwind, perforate, shear, stack, and separate rolls of material into finished goods. Key functions include:

• Unwinding: Two unwind stations (fixed and aisle-loading) handle material rolls, with hydraulic cylinders to grip, center, raise, or lower rolls. A carry-over clamp transfers material from the fixed unwind over the aisle-loading unwind. Roll diameter and web guide sensors ensure proper alignment.
• Splicing: The splice station uses two clamps, a tape dispenser, and a crush cutter to join material ends.
• Slitting and Shearing: Material passes through a slitter with ten Tidland Class II e-knife holder cartridges to cut the web into up to ten lanes. A clamp/blade assembly shears the material to length, with adjustable nip rollers and blade settings (cam follower and radius rod) to ensure precise cutting without tearing or blade damage.
• Stacking: A secondary nip stacks the sheared material to a set height.
• Separating and Output: The stack is transferred to a separator station with two conveyor sets—the first compresses the material, and the second, running faster, separates it at perforations. The finished goods are then moved to an output conveyor.

Periodic adjustments by qualified personnel are required, with power disconnected for safety. The system supports continuous operation by allowing material prep on one unwind while the other runs.
