Inline Sheeter

An in-line sheeter is integrated into a continuous production line, such as presses or laminators, to convert large rolls of paper, film, or board into precise sheets without interrupting the workflow. The material is fed through a cutting section controlled by a programmable logic controller (PLC) and servo motors for high-precision cuts (±0.2 mm) at speeds up to 300 feet per minute. The cutting mechanism, featuring rotary blades, slices the material into sheets of specified lengths, adjustable via a touchscreen interface. Optional features like slitting units allow simultaneous width adjustments. This seamless integration enhances efficiency and precision in high-volume printing and packaging applications.
